Gently guiding when needed, but also stepping back to capture the in-between magic. Real moments, quiet pauses, everything in-between. I will be your biggest advocate, your loudest cheerleader, protector of intimate moments, shoulder to cry on, ultimate party guest etc. You name it, I got it. This is your chance to take it all in and be present, I will handle the rest!
THE DAY OF
Once the contract is signed + retainer is paid, YOU ARE OFFICIAL! We’ll chat about timing, light, location, and what matters most to you — crafting a loose, thoughtful plan that leaves room to breathe, and explore. Checking in with you as often as you need, if you have questions, I have answers + vice versa. I don't demand multiple check in calls via zoom every other week, life is busy, I get it!

Every session and wedding is different, but I am typically shooting 100-150 photos an hour. It will then be edited in my style, crafted into a beautiful storyline from start to finish, with every detail in between. I do not believe in photo "maximums", every memory deserves to be preserved, even the perfectly imperfect ones- they are a part of your story and will be seen as such.

HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?

Depending on the season, lifestyle sessions will be delivered within 4 weeks, weddings will typically be within 10 weeks. I always send a few preview images within a couple of days so you have something to celebrate while the rest are being prepared with care and intention behind the scenes.

WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

Yes, I am always up for new places! I'm based in a small town but often traveling to my clients. If you're planning something a little off the beaten path, send over the details and I’ll provide a more custom quote based on location and travel needs.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

I will never photoshop you, unless there is something like a bruise or bump that is visible that you request me to do so, your appearance will never be altered. I will remove distractions, unpleasant scenery or people in backgrounds. As for the raws, no. You are investing in the final gallery, not paying for unfinished work. These images reflect my style and creativity, and the experience you hired me for.

do you photoshop us / do we receive the raw files?

We are all a little awkward sometimes- nothing to be worried about. It is normal to feel a little strange at first, but it's my job to create an environment where you feel safe enough to let go of expectations, and just have fun. Laugh and run around like a kid again. I will prompt you, but where you take those prompts is up to you- it let's you show your most authentic selves to feel more natural!

If you have taken a look through my recent work or follow me along on the socials and you want to book- I can't wait to meet you! You will fill out my contact form with your dreams + wishes and I will get back to you within 48 hours with availability, and next steps. A retainer deposit and signed contract will officially secure your date with me! As far as when to book, elopements / weddings should be 12-18 months in advance, especially during peak wedding season. Portrait + lifestyle sessions can be anywhere from 2 weeks, to 6 months as there is more flexibility. The sooner, the better - either way :)

how + when should we book with you?

I will write the same copies on two separate memory cards during your day, in case one is corrupted. I will then upload to an external hard drive to be edited. Your final images are then stored on another external hard drive to be uploaded to my website to deliver your gallery. This is password protected, something we can come up with so that only you + the people you share it with have access. I recommend exporting your full gallery onto your own type of device immediately once you receive your gallery back. That way, you have it in full in your hands.

YES. I know this economy is incredibly difficult to navigate. We can come up with a spaced out payment plan that works best for everyone involved. I will never believe going into debt to invest in your memories.
